Just what I needed!
After a long day on the road I arrived late with a space reserved for my traveling van comes off in their secure car park. Room warm and cozy ready for my rest. Exceptionally comfortable bed saw me sleep until after 8am which I never usually do. A well prepared continental breakfast has just been completed ready to hit the road again. Great location. This is my new central city Christchurch accommodation! Cheers.

The host was so welcoming and great to chat with. He had some great recommendations for in and around Christchurch, as well as out on the road around South Island. Especially pointing us to an amazing Cheese shop and a bakery that had the most amazing pies on the way to Lake Tekapo. The accommodation itself was lovely, comfortable and warm

Very friendly staff, it was to the city. We went for walks through town and enjoyed our time there.
Exceptional find for city visits
Absolutely superb. Can't fault this place which had exceptional location, fabulous facilities and very comfortable beds. Enjoyed a pre meal glass on our balcony in the sunshine, met friends for a celebration dinner and stayed here in the city so we didn't have a long late drive home. Hugely recommended, will stay again.

The host was very friendly and upgraded our room for us without asking. She even allowed for an early check in. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The location was great- walking distance to the center of town and sights. We would recommend staying here!

Had a 2 bedroom unit so 3 people fitted in well. Very clean and comfortable , good beds and pillows. Location suited us. As our train was delayed we were sent good information how to access after 8pm which was much appreciated.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful in terms of accommodating a potential late arrival (which didn't eventuate). The unit was very quiet and comfortable Mini chocolate bars were a nice touch. Hagley Park North makes a really nice walk close by as well.

Great stay in Christchurch
We had a great experience here. We had a suite with separate living area and kitchen area. Good location in walking distance to the central area. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. We liked it so much that we booked it again on our return before flying out.
Perfect for one night
Very friendly welcome and the room was clean and warm. Perfect location for us as walking distance to the Town Hall. My negative would be that a shelf in the bathroom is very much needed, no where at all to pop any toiletries, didn’t bother us too much for just a one night stay, but not ideal if you are there for longer.
Fantastic place to stay! We arrived here to extremely friendly hosts who went the extra mile to accommodate us after we'd arrived one day early. Motel was in an excellent location, close to the city centre and only a short stroll to the Casino, we were attending a gig at the Town Hall and this was the perfect place for us. The room was spacious and clean, bed super comfortable and the hosts extremely friendly. Can't recommend highly enough, will definitely be back only next time I'll book for the correct day!

I picked Focus Motel and Executive Suites for a 2 night stay based on its proximity to the city center and being very close to my rental car pickup location. It was a great choice. We had a very large two bedroom suite (we booked a one bedroom) with a great tub (and shower). Everything was clean and tidy, Coffee and tea and milk were provided, and we had a fridge and little stove. There was laundry facilities on site. The owners were still on site when we arrived (we came on the train and it can be delayed at times) and they were lovely. We were minutes from the Botanical Garden and Quake City, and an easy walk to the town center and there were great food and drink options close by. There was free parking so we could load our luggage once we picked up our car. The lodging was secured at night. It was quiet. It was everything we wanted and needed at a fair price in the middle of NZ's summer!
A great stay
Highly recommended. Although my stay was a short one I found that it was the little touches which make this spot special. From the Sky television, to the fresh milk in the fridge and thoughtful toiletries, this clean, friendly motel fits the bill.
